A Christmas Tale is one among the popular Geronimo Stilton series and is about the importance of having family during the occasion of Christmas. The events of the book are based around Christmas time where the protagonist Geronimo, a mouse, is impatiently waiting to celebrate Christmas eve with his friends and family but becomes extremely upset when he discovers that they are travelling out of town during that time. The mouse realizes that he will be all alone on Christmas eve and this makes him really sad. He feels like a killjoy who is unwanted everywhere. Discovering whether the mouse will spend the Christmas all alone or with someone he knows is the captivating part of the book.
